Easter Break 24/03/08 The Reading Racers had a busy easter Friday night they were at Somerset and Saturday they were at the I.O.W and the Easter Sunday they were home to I.O.W. Tom was happy with how he rode over the Easter break, Tom said Somerset and I.O.W are some of the fastest track in the premier league you have to ride them flat out and as close to the fence as you dear am not one of thoses riders but I have to say that Friday was the best I have ever rode Somerset and I feel I have learned a lot about that track and also Satudar and I.O.W I made one mistake and that made me mad as Jason whent around me on the last lap so that cost the team and myself a point, but i was happy about how I rode and Sunday at Reading I was really happy I was not making starts which is bad but I only droped one point which is great for only the 2nd home meeting roll on the leauge 2008 season 08/03/08 Tom was at Reading Friday and he was really happy with how everything when, Tom said the team are all people that I know all ready which helps to build a good team and I felt really good on the track I have tryed all my engines now so am ready for the 2008 season people are saying some good things about me and some bad things but fingers crossed I will show people that Malcolm and Mark have made the right move with signing me for Reading London Motorcycle Show-Excel 28/01/08 Tom going to be at the London Motorcyle show on Saturday the 2nd of Feb, Tom will be on the Reading stand from 11.00 Saturday morning Tom is looking forward to seeing some Reading fans Tom said it was nice to be asked and am looking forward to it. Tom signs 2008 deal 06/12/07 Tom has signed for a Premier League Club for 2008, talking to Tom earlyer he said he was very happy to have signed before Christmas its the best Christmas gift I could have asked for. I can not say who I have signed for untill the club have announced it but all I will say is am looking froward to March tom still having treatment 26/10/07 tom was sidelined after the crash at Birmingham with team mate Shaun. tom is still having treatment on his hip and is still in alot of pain, tom said this was not the way he wanted to end his season tom on the way hosptail 29/08/07 tom has had a bad couple of days sundayTom was signed out the meeting when Ricky Ashworth ran over his left foot tom had phiso to be come fit for Wedesday clash at Birmingham only to do one heat, Tom was on a 5-1 with Shaun Tacey when Shauns chain when off and his bike just when straight into Tom both Shaun and Tom came off, Shaun withdraw from the meeting and Tom was took to Hosptail Tom has a up hill battle to finess, Tom's hip is really bad which is making it hard for Tom to walk. tom big blow 04/08/07 Tom was asked to guess for Wolves on Saturday at Eastbounre a guess booking Tom was happy to get as Eastbounre is one of Toms favorite tracks, but it turned out to a very bad night for the Dan, Tom was at the tapes for heat 2 when there was a big bang and Tom looked down and saw a big whole in big engine,tom then had to swap bikes one that was not set up for small tracks, so a good night turned out to be a bad night 3 rides and no points a one engine in the bin. tom been given ok by doctors 05/06/07 Tom whent to the doctors yesterday and was given the al clear, tom still has a stif neck but otherwise he is fit, Tom has gone to Denmark to ride for his Danish club Brovst and is flyong back to the uk thursday morning ready for the tigers meeting with Shefeild, Tom has seen photos and a video from Sunday and said both myself and Chris are very lucky. tom crashed out of local derby 03/06/07 Tom had a bad crash in heat one with rocket Chris Neath, both riders were able to get up and was able to ride in the re-run, Tom won the re-run but pulled up just after the chequed flag, Tom was pulled out of the meeting, Tom had a bad bang on the head and his is still feeling dizzy today, Tom has a race to fitness as Tom is due to race in Denmark on Wedesday and Shefield on Thursday, Tom is hoping and has his fingers crossed vice Captain 11/03/07 Tom was handed the vice captain yesterday after Milldenhall Closed door pratsice Jason King was give the captain's of then Fen Tigers. Tom said yesterday that the Milldenhall track is a very small track and fast but am really looking forward to get the season started, I also have buttery fly in my belly as am driving up to the track for the 1st time and yetserday was no different. Milldenhall Press day is this wedesday and the 1st meeting is this Sunday were the Shefleid Tigers come to town Tom P in Denmark 02/03/07 Tom P has signed for a Danish club call Brovst, Tom has not ride in Denmark since 2000 Tom said While i was in Denmark the Danish Leauge closed i flet that was a shame. i when to a meeting with all the other Danish riders and everybody put there heads together to see what we could do, we came up with just having one league and each club other having one big rider, so thats what happen and then to be asked to ride at home was a great feeling my home is in England but i am Danish my English club comes 1st Tom P heading to Berwick 25/01/07 Tom p has been ask to the Berwick 40th party, Tom said he was really please when Peter Wiate asked him he feels he owes Berwick alot. Berwick brought me over to England and for that i owe him alot, and when Oxford and Kings lynn did not want me any more Berwick sign me agian, am really looking forard to going be nice to see some old friends again. tom p number 5 24/01/07 Tom P will be mildenhall's number 5, Tom is happer to be starting at number 5 he said he is doing well with getting everything sorted for the start for the season, Tom said I have order my bike covers and racesuit so that will be ready for mid Feb all my engines are with Chris Louis and Chris is working on my new one to, so all i have to do is just build my bikes up when i get home, Tom Signs For Mildenhall for 2007 18/12/06 MILDENHALL have announced three signings for 2007 - and confirmed the appointment of Laurence Rogers as team manager. The Fen Tigers' Premier League future had been in doubt this winter but promoter Mick Horton has been joined by West Row stadium owner Carl Harris and long-time supporter Simon Barton to add some much-needed stability. And team building has now commenced in earnest with the signings of experienced Dane Tom P Madsen, exciting young Canadian Kyle Legault and long-time Fen Tiger Mark Thompson. Rogers said: "The three signings are superb. I worked with Tom P. Madsen before at King's Lynn, and Tommo and I have a close relationship. I seem to be able to get the best out of him so I'll be aiming to do that. "Kyle Legault is an exciting signing, he's the Canadian Champion and improved his average the last two seasons. He's an up and coming rider who will go places this year. "I think we will be having a team of good middle order riders and that will give a good balance to the side. He will line up in a team that includes former World Number 1 Jason Crump and British Stars Joe Screen and Simon Stead.
